Mr. and Mrs. Fred B. Anglemeyer, of Rt 1, Covington received word on Saturday that their son, Pfc. Robert G. Anglemeyer had been killed in action in the Mediterranean war theatre.

Mrs. Marie Holmes, of Stone Bluff, learned Saturday Jan 1, that her brother, Pfc. Robert G. Anglemeyer, a paratrooper in North Africa died of wounds which he received while in action on December 15.  Pfc. Anglemeyer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Anglemeyer near Perrysville, and enlisted in the armed forces Feb 18, 1942. He was among the first to land in the invasion of Sicily as a paratrooper. Surviving are the parents, four brothers, Freeman of Newport; Ward of Attica; Willar dof Military Police stationed at Peabody, Kansas; Daniel in the Southwest Pacific; three sisters, Mrs. Geneva Brown of Newport; Mrs.
Marie Holmes of Stone Bluff and Mrs. Grace DeMotte of Williamsport.   --- transcribed by kbz
