Capt. AJ Lyons of Des Moines, Ia, was in the city Tuesday visiting his brother, N.B. Lyons, while on his way home from Chattanooga, where he had been attending the reunion of the old soldiers. From here he went to Hoopeston to visit with his sister, Mrs. William Elliott. Mr. Elliott was in Paxton Tuesday with him. Capt. Lyons organized his company at State Line, Ind and they saw service during the war. Napoleon Lyons, the brother, accompanied them to Indianapolis to enlist, but was refused on account of his eyesight.
