Washington Oct 28 - James Harold Stephens, boatswain's mate, first class
of Veedersburg, Ind is one of six enlistedmen of the Navy to be
commended by Sec. Daniels "for efficient performance of duty and
excellent conduct," when the US Steamship William Rockefeller was
torpedoed and sunk May 13 last, according to announceent made here tonight.
