Hansel J. GREEN -- Son of Mr. and Mrs. LaMonte M. Green; born December 25, 1894, Attica, Ind. Educated in Military Academy, Denver, Col. Chemist. Enlisted in U.S. Regular Army September 1, 1917, Chicago, Ill. Sent to Camp Johnston, Fla.; assigned to Motor Supply Train No. 413. Went overseas in July, 1918; assigned to 436th Motor Truck Company. Died of pneumonia September 22, 1918, in Base Hospital No. 45, Toul, France. Buried in cemetery of the "Justice Group," west of Toul, France.
