GROVER JONES -- Son of Newman and Sarah Elizabeth Jones; born February, (date of month not given) 1892, Richland Township, Fountain County, Ind. Farmer. Entered service May 25, 1918, Covington, Ind. Sent to Ft. Benjamin Harrison, Ind.; assigned to Company E, 2nd Training Battalion, 22nd Engineer Corps. Transferred to Camp Merritt, N. J. Promoted to 1st Sergeant. Went overseas in July, 1918. Killed in railway accident in France, February 4, 1919.
