Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa; assigned to Company B, 336th Infantry. Transferred to Camp Mills, N. Y. Went overseas September 2, 1918. Died of pneumonia October 25, 1918, Noyers, France. Buried in Noyers, Loire et Cher, France.
