CLYDE CHARLES RODGERS -- Son of George and Cora McElwee Rodgers; born December 14, 1894, Wallace, Fountain County, Ind. Farmer. Called into service July 23, 1918, Covington, Ind. Sent to Camp Taylor, Ky.; assigned to 1st Company, 1st Training Battalion, 159th Depot Brigade. Transferred to West Point, Ky.; then back to Camp Taylor, Ky. Died of pneumonia October 9, 1918. (Buried Rockfield Cemetery, Veedersburg, Fountain County, Indiana).
