Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Rater, 923 Commercial St., Covington are the parents of son born Thursday, Aug. 12, in the Williamsport Hospital. The baby weighed seven pounds and three ounces and has been named Deron Dwaune. They have a daughter, Kelly Lee age 4. The maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Howard Rudolph, of Williamsport and the paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Rater of Attica.

Newtown, April 26 – Relatives have received a message from Akron, Ohio telling them of the birth of a baby daughter of Saturday to Mr. and Mrs. Roylett (sic) who resides there. Mrs. Rowlett (sic) was formerly Miss Fern McKinney of this place and is well known here. The baby girl will answer to the name of Mary. ~~~Transcribed and Type by KBZ
