MILLS, Richard b. 26 Mar 1802 TN - d. 6 Apr 1874 - Buried at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Hamilton Co.
He is the son of Joseph MILLS and Rebecca STILLWELL. "Richard MILLS died at his residence 6 miles northeast of Northfield. He was about 73 years of age. He resided here and in Hamilton Co IN for over 21 years." [Obit in Lebanon IN Patriot, 16 Apr 1874]

The Sugar Grove Cem., Hamilton Co IN, is located about 3 miles south of Jolietville, which is on St. Rt. 32, on the west side of Joliet road (W41), and about 1/2 mile east of the Boone-Hamilton Co line. Or, from the other direction, 5 1/2 miles west of U.S. 31 just N of 156th Street (200S in Boone Co). [transcription of gravestones done 1982 by K. J. WISE and K. W. MINNICH.]
