MONTPELIER -- Herman Leo Teagle,
84, died Sunday at Hartford City
nursing home.
Surviving are three daughters; Mrs.
Hercle (Mabel) Rhoton, and Mrs.
Russell (Frances) Forrester, both of
Montpelier, and Mrs. Eugene (Mary)
Ellison, Rt. 1, Montpelier, seven Grand-
children and 15 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2p.m.
Wednesday at the Walker Funeral Home,
with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after
2p.m. today.

Vera L. Turner (Palmer), 86 died Saturday, September 21, 2013 in Wesleyan Healthcare. She was born in Hartford City, Indiana on October 1, 1926 to the late Virgil and Ola (Overmeyer) David. She married Bruce Turner and he preceded her in death. Vera was a homemaker and enjoyed reading books, attending church services and listening to classical and gospel music. She was a member of Montpelier Nazarene Church for 10 years.
Survivors include her children, Ann (Mike) Finnerty, Dorothy (Dennis Gephart) Sparks, Gary (Clara) Palmer and Randy Palmer; brothers, Jerry (Electa) Davis, Jim (Myrna) Davis and Bob (Claudia) Davis; sister-in-law, Patty Davis; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Ola David; husbands, Oris Palmer and Bruce Turner; and brother, Virgil Davis.
