JOHN BURNS COUNTY ATTORNEY
The new board of county commissioners, which it is not necessary to add is democratic, held its first meeting this morning and about its first official act after organizing was to apponit John Burns county attorney in place of C. w. Kinnan of this city. ElishaPierce of Hartford City was also a candidate for the place.
The board also granted license to sell liquor to William Jamison and J. Z. Stock, of this city and this stands off total dryness in Montpelier at least another year.
