WALTER R. KENDALL was born in Monticello March 1, 1846. His schooling was completed with a two years' course at Wabash College. since when he has been engaged in clerking and merchandising on his own responsibility, and at present is doing a good business in the dry goods and clothing line in Monticello. He is a Republican and a member of the Presbyterian Church. April 28, 1870, he married Miss Mattie E. McConnell. They are the parents of three children-Schuyler C., Frederick C. and Pearl Dean.
