Follow the rules as stated or you may not receive a reply:
  • Limit is ONE SURNAME per request.
  • Put Wayne County LOOK-UP in the subject line
  • Put the name of the book from which you are requesting the look-up in your message
  • Please understand that the look-up volunteer will not do extensive research

The intent of the project is not to provide you with photocopies or scanned images, but to answer simple questions pertaining to the contents of the particular book or reference material. Most of the books are old and cannot be scanned without causing damage, so please don't ask for a scanned copy.

If you request a look-up, don't forget to thank your volunteer for their time.
