ALLIFAIR "Allie or Alice"
(WATKINS) BANNING
MRS, ALICE F. BANNING*, 90
years old, died at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Martha Buck, eight and a half
miles west of the city, from the infirmities incident to
her advanced age.
Mrs. Banning was a native of Maryland, and came to this county 40 years ago, remaining a resident until her death.
Three children survive, viz: Mrs. Martha Buck, Mrs. Diana Sewell, and S. A. Banning. The deceased was an estimable woman, and held in the highest esteem by the community in which she lived.
