Old Resident of Wabash Co. Is Dead Mrs. Jacob Tyner, 68, Passes Away While Visiting Her Daughter Near Treaty Wabash, Ind., July 19 – Mrs. Jacob Tyner, 68 years old, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Akers, one mile south of Treaty, at 4:30 o’clock this morning, following an illness of only two days. Mrs. Tyner came to her daughter’s home Sunday to spend the day and when other relatives arrived, she decided to stay overnight. Early Monday morning she was taken seriously ill with stomach trouble, which was the cause of her death. The deceased was born in Rush County on October 27, 1848, where she lived until her marriage to William Smith in 1869. This husband died and in 1885, she was married to Jacob Tyner. Smith and Leroy Smith, of this county; William A. Smith of Lebanon and Ross Smith of Russ County; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Akers of near Treaty; one sister and two brothers.
