LaFontaine, Feb. 14 –

Funeral services for Samuel Stevens, 79, will be held at 1:30 o’clock Friday afternoon at the Masonic Home in LaFontaine, with burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery here, Rev. I. T. Rogers and the Masonic Lodge will have charge of the services.

Stevens, who had spent most of his life in Wabash County, died Tuesday night at the home of a son, Fred Stevens, south of here.

The following four other children also survive: Mrs. Edith Woods of Oklahoma; Mrs. Pauline Furnish and Paul Stevens, both of Muncie, and Mrs. Alice Hullingsworth of Indianapolis.

Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one stepson, Dorsey Smith of Wabash County, also survive.
