Wabash, Aug. 23 –

Funeral services for George Wilson Roser, 74, who died at the Wabash County Hospital Thursday evening, will be held at 2 o’clock on Sunday afternoon at the Martin Luther Church on State Road No. 24, south of Wabash. Rev. C. H. Pence will have charge of the services and burial will be in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion.

Mr. Roser, who was a retired farmer, was born in Wabash County and had spent his entire life in this community.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Permillia Ridenour Roser, and the following children: Elzia Roser, who lives in Texas, Philip Roser of Lagro, Mrs. Henry Jacobs of LaFontaine, Mrs. Darrell Hawkins; Mrs. Gordon Snyder and George Roser, Jr., all of Wabash; 37 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The body was taken to the Hoover Funeral Home and will be taken to the residence in South Wabash later.
