MAHONEY
Wabash, June 2 -

   Miss Lauretta Gene Mahoney, 14, of Burket, died last night at the Murphy Hospital, four days after submitting to an operation for acute appendicitis.

   Surviving are the mother, Mrs. Ivan Mahoney; two brothers, Lawrence and Arvin; and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Mahoney of Warsaw and Mr. and Mrs. I. B. Kern of Burket.

   Miss Mahoney was a freshman in the Burket High School.

   Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock (CST) at the Burket U.B. Church. Interment will be in the Palestine Cemetery.
