Wabash, Jan. 19 –

Mrs. Lena Long, 71, died at 10 o’clock this morning at her home here. Death was unexpected as Mrs. Long had not been ill.

She was the widow of Samuel Long and was born near Urbana. Mrs. Long lived in Grant County on a farm for a number of years, but had spent the major part of her life in this county.

She is survived by nine children, Miss Leona Long, public school teacher here who made her home with her mother; Hobart Long, also at home; Mrs. Beulah Parks, Mrs. Ray Gollifer, Mrs. W. A. George and Theodore Long, all of Muncie; Orville and Charles Long, Gas City, and Harvey Long, Los Angeles.
