LaFontaine, June 8 -

   Funeral services for Lyman Lawson, 17, were held at 2 o’clock today at the Jalapa Methodist Church with Rev. Kenneth Smith in charge. Burial was in the LaFontaine Cemetery.

   Lawson, who had been a star athlete at Swayzee High School, was drowned in a gravel pit on Wednesday evening.

   He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Lawson and several brothers and sisters.
