Wabash, Nov. 11 -

      Private funeral services for Joseph Lewis Kirby, 89, who died at his farm home west of Wabash early Monday morning, will be held at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning followed by burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

   Mr. Kirby, who was a native of Wabash County, had spent his entire life within a few miles of the place where he was born.

   He is survived by his widow, Clara Tait Kirby and the following children: Charles and Oliver Kirby, at home, Frank Kirby and Mrs. John Bolinger of near Wabash.
