Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Augusta Eckerly, 83, who died at her home in Waltz Township early today, will be held at the Lutheran church in Peru at 230 o’clock on Wednesday afternoon with Rev. A. H. Gallmeier in charge. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery.

Mrs. Eckerly died of heart disease. She was a native of West Virginia, but had been a resident of this community for many years.

Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Emma Eckerly and Charles Eckerly at home, and George H. Eckerly of Columbus. Two brothers also survive.
