BENSON
Wabash, June 13 –

   Funeral services for Garland A. Benson, 47, who died at 5:15 o’clock this morning at the Wabash County Hospital where he underwent an operation for a hernia on Monday, will be held at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the Lagro Presbyterian Church with Rev. J. S. Howk, pastor, in charge. Rev. Ware W. Wimberly of the First Presbyterian Church in Wabash where Mr. Benson was a member will assist. Burial will be in the Lagro I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

   Mr. Benson was born in Wabash County and had spent his entire life here. He was an employee of the Ford Meter Box Plant.

   Surviving is the widow; one daughter, Velma Benson, at home; two brothers, Roy Benson of LaFontaine and Verne Benson of Wabash and one sister, Mrs. Lola Bowers of Huntington.
