BAGWELL
North Manchester, July 6 –

Rev. E. B. Bagwell, 79, retired minister of the Church of the Brethren died this afternoon at his home here after a long illness. A native of Virginia, he came here 20 years ago but never held a regular pastorate here.

Surviving are five sons, Omar Bagwell of New York City, Jesse Bagwell of Union City, C. E. Bagwell of Detroit, C. W. Bagwell of North Manchester and R. L. Bagwell of Athens, Texas; six daughters, Mrs. Grace M. Berry, Miss Olive Bagwell and Miss Ruth Bagwell of North Manchester, Mrs. Anna Stoner of near Lebanon, Miss Bertha Bagwell of Santa Cruz, California and Mrs. Forrest Shager of Detroit, and one brother, S. R. Bagwell of Marion, Kansas.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm (CST) at the Walnut Street Church of the Brethren with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
