Mrs. Ella Amiss, 87, died Monday night at her home after a nine-day illness with paralysis.

Surviving are a brother, Aaron Leckrone of Warsaw; and two sisters, Mrs. Tilla Groninger and Mrs. Mattie Horn of Silver Lake. Her husband Dr. James Amiss, Silver Lake physician died six years ago.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the United Brethren church. Rev. Levy will officiate. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
