Lillie A. (Pearman) Taylor
was born December 5, 1875 to David and Lydia A. Smith Pearman. She
married John T. Taylor September 12, 1900 in Vermillion County,
Indiana. They had one son, Samuel Edwin Taylor. She died
September 27, 1931 and is buried in Helt's Prairie Cemetery.

John Taylor was born May 11, 1868 in Illinois to Lambert and Lucinda
Stump Taylor. He married Lillie A. Pearman September 12,
1900 in Vermillion County, Indiana. They had one son, Samuel Edwin
Taylor, who married Ilo Elizabeth Thorne. He loved spending the
summer months with his grandson, Waldon. Every Sunday they would
faithfully walk to church about 5 miles to what is now Salem Methodist
Church. For most of his life, he was a farmer. He died May
18, 1957 in Vermillion County and is buried in Helt's Prairie Cemetery.
