Zion Chapel Cemetery
aka "Taterbug" Cemetery
I am including not only Wanda Morfords Cemetery list done in 1980, but
also an old newspaper article about the "Taterbug Cemetery" given to me
by Ardath Blue which was sent to her by Mary Cox but also pictures of
the Cemetery, taken by myself and Ellen Belcher. Mary & Ellen
are cousins of Ardath's. The Cemetery list is first, following it are
the other items.
From State Route 56, north on State Route 129 for 1.2 miles, then left
on the first blacktop road, which is called "Taterbug" road, it is two
tenths of a mile to this small cemetery. There are probably many more
burials than stones indicate as there are many open spaces. --Sheila Kell.
