The Vevay Cemetery is located in Vevay on the East side of town on Hwy. 156 aka East Main St. The bulk of the listings are from Wanda Morford's book of Switzerland County Cemeteries, with additions from local residents who have sent them in to me. My notes appear in red. -- Sheila Kell, Transcr.

There are quite a few field stones in this section. There is also a large area which appears to have no stones at all. This is probably where the earliest burials were made, but there is no record. It was estimated at one time that there were probably 1000 burials in the cemetery before commercial stones were available in the area, and no doubt this section contains many of those burials.
