From Wanda Morford's Cemetery Lists
The only deed for this cemetery found in the recorder's office in the court house in Switzerland County is for a small "corner of land of Tract Section 7, Town 3, Range 3 west, and containing 40/100 acres more or less." It was deeded for $16 to Dennis C. Valentine, C. M. Newkirk, B. F. Cunningham, Lawrence L. Welch, and A. V. Morrison, Trustees of the Bennington Methodist Episcopal church from Matilda Welch, Emma Welch, W. S. Welch, and Harriet G. Welch, his wife. The deed is dated August 2, 1898 in Book 18,  p. 251. The cemetery is about one fourth mile from Bennington, Indiana, on the Bennington Pike.
