There is a single stone for a soldier of the War of 1812 on private property on McCrearys Ridge. It is at least a mile back from the road. It is a newer granite stone, probably set years after his death, but a tree limb has fallen and knocked it down. It is enclosed in a small fence. It is possible that there could be an inscription on the back.
