Edna Estella Works was born June, 1880, in Indiana. Her parents were James Alexander Works Jr. and Lucy Dalmazzo. She died 28 Feb 1963.
Edna Works married Edwin Howe Mead (1879-1913) on January 26, 1902. They had four children: Edwin W., Ernest Samuel, August, and Francis.
The family was in Ohio when Edwin was misdiagnosed with a ruptured appendix. After Edwin died at 39 yrs of age, Edna brought her 4 sons back to Switzerland County, to live with her parents and her brother.
Edna is buried in Section 9, Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Switzerland County, Indiana, with her husband, Edwin Howe Mead, and their son, August Mead.
