was born in this county in 1843. He is a son of Thomas F. McCreary, and grew to maturity with his parents, and at eighteen years of age, was married to Eliza A. Chandler, daughter of William Chandler and Elizabeth (Moore), and they have two children: Henderson and Addison. Mr. McCreary has always lived on the farm, and done that kind of work. He is a member of the Masonic lodge; was educated in the common schools, and is one of the thrifty farmers of the county. Has now 169 acres of land.
