Delena M. Zultanski, 77, of East
Bowman Street, South Bend, died Thursday evening in St. Joseph
Community Hospital, Mishawaka, after an illness. She was born May
4, 1919, in Ilion, N.Y. She was a bookkeeper at the North
American Sign Co. for 36 years and retired in 1983. She lived in
the South Bend area since 1937, coming from New York.
She married Matthew H. (Hank) Zultanski in
South Bend and he survives. She is also survived by four
daughters, Barbara Werntz and Mary C. Potter, both
of South Bend, Sharon Ptacek of Kalamazoo, Mich., and
Kathy Laxson of Nanpa, Idaho; three sons, Butch C.
Zultanski and Mitch H. Zultanski, both of South Bend, and Timothy
J. Zultanski of Granger; 29 grandchildren; and 22
great-grandchildren. Her sister, Emma McGrath, preceded
her in death.
Friends may call Sunday, Dec. 22 at
Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3718 S. Michigan St.,
from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. with a rosary Sunday at 4 p.m.
Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Cathedral.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
