Richard S. Zoludow, age 73, of Beth Ann Drive, South Bend, died at 3:00 a.m. Thursday February 17, in his residence.

He was born July 5, 1926 in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. Richard retired from Dwyer Instruments in Michigan City, IN.

Richard Zoludow was a World War II veteran, a member of Army and Navy Union #146, and Holy Family Catholic Church.

He was married August 23, 1947, in South Bend, to Irene Papp who survives. Richard is survived by three daughters, Katherine (Thomas) Brzezinski of South Bend, Donna (Donald) Hecklinski of Birmingham, AL, and Victoria (Timothy) Todd of Rolling Prairie, IN; ten grandchildren, Sarah, Michael, Karen and John Brzezinski, all of South Bend, Amy Hecklinski of Chicago, IL, Alison, Alan and Ann Hecklinski, all of Birmingham, AL, and Elizabeth and Emily Todd, both of Rolling Prairie. Preceding Richard Zoludow in death were his parents, Samuel Zoludow who died March 14, 1982, and Katherine Zoludow who died January 2, 1989, a sister, Dorothy Piotrowski who died September 11, 1985, and a nephew, James Piotrowski who died February 28,1995.

Family and friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
