Joseph J. Zirille

MISHAWAKA – Services for Joseph J. Zirille, 73, of 1111 N. Division Street, who died at 2:35 a.m. Sunday in his home, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Monica’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be at 7 p.m.

Mr. Zirille retired in 1878 from Uniroyal Plastics Co. after 34 years of service. He was born May 10, 1916 in Plati, Italy and came to Mishawaka in 1929 from Italy.

On July 24, 1948 in Mishawaka he married Anna Perri, who survives. Also surviving are three sisters, Marian Bezi of Mishawaka, Betty M. Sergi of Indianapolis and Katherine O’Neil of Ann Arbor, Mich. He was a veteran of World War II.
