Mrs. David L. Zimmer

September 20, 1887 – October 8, 1941

Mrs. David L. Zimmer, aged 54, of 617 East Jefferson Boulevard, died in St Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, at 5:30am today.  She had been ill since last Saturday.

She was born in St Joseph County September 20, 1887, and lived all her life here.  She was married to Mr. Zimmer in Chicago in 1906.

Surviving besides her husband are four daughters, Miss Anna E and Miss Loretta B. Zimmer, who are twins residing in South Bend; Mrs. Elizabeth Klein, of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Ada Gingenrich, of Elkhart IN; a son, Dale E. Zimmer, Osceola, this county, and a brother, E. J. Peck, Osceola.

She was a member of the Twin Branch Christian Church, east of Mishawaka, and was a charter member of the Kate J. Nichols Rebekah Lodge No. 850, of Elkhart.

Friends may call at the L.H. Orvis Funeral Home Thursday night and until noon Friday when the body will be taken to the Twin Branch Church to lie until the funeral there at 2pm Friday.  Rev. Maynard Culp, pastor, will officiate, with burial in the Osceola Cemetery.  Members of the Elkhart lodge will have charge of services at the grave.
