Etta M. Zillmer, 72, of 729 E. Victoria St., died about 12:35 a.m. today at Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mrs Zillmer retired from Memorial Hospital nurses residence, where she was a housemother for 13 years. She was born Oct. 26, 1915 in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. She is survived by two sisters, Cleora Pavy of Indianapolis and Alice Niblick of South Bend; two brothers, Robert, of Dowagiac, and Harry, of South Bend.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
