Helen Zielinski, 82, of Linden
Avenue, South Bend, Ind., died at 3 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, in
Fountainview Place, Mishawaka, Ind. She was born Nov. 25, 1918,
in South Bend, and was the daughter of Walter and Blanche (Kruszka)
Sniadecki. Mrs. Zielinski retired in 1981 from the former Hazlet
Building after 24 years of service.
On Jan. 12, 1946, in South Bend, as Helen Sniadecki,
she married Harry Zielinski, who preceded her in death on Oct.
18, 1989. Mrs. Zielinski was also preceded in death by a brother,
Bert Sniadecki.
She is survived by three sisters, Carrie Lapczynski,
Irene Dulcet and Virginia Selig, all of South Bend;
and by four brothers, Edward Sniadecki, Clem Sniadecki, Frank
Sniadecki and Alford Sniadecki, all of South Bend.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m.
Thursday in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road,
where a Rosary will be held at 4 p.m. Services will be held at 11
a.m. Friday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, with burial at St.
Joseph Cemetery. She was loved and will be missed by many nieces
and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and
nephews.
