Mrs Helen Zielinski
Sept 13, 1891- April 29, 1980
Mrs. Helen Zielinski, 88, of the Carlyle Nursing Home,
died at 1:12 a.m. today in St. Joseph's Hospital after a lengthy illness. She
had retired in 1954 from the Uniroyal Corp., where she had worked for 25 years
as an inspector. She had also worked as a self-employed seamstress. Born on
Sept 13, 1891, in South Bend, she had lived here all her life. In 1910, as
Helen Kwestorowski, she married Stanley Zielinski, who died in 1953. She is
survived by two daughters, Mrs Michael (Clara) Vaszari of South Bend, and Mrs.
Roy (Estelle) Miller of Golden Lake, Ind: two sons Victor of South Bend and
Alex of Temple City, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and four
sisters. Mrs Bernice Zielinski, Mrs. Harriet Andrezjak, MRs. Angela Kopczynski
and Mrs. Lillian Winnicki, all of South Bend.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursady in Holy Cross
Catholic Church. Rev. Jacob Smith C.S.C., pastor, will officiate. Burial will
be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the
Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home.
