Ernest S. Zelasko

May 3, 1912 - July 22, 1996

NEW CARLISLE - Ernest S. Zelasko, 84, of New Carlisle, Ind., died at 10:30 a.m. Monday in LaPorte Hospital, LaPorte, Ind.

Mr. Zelasko retired from Uniroyal Corporation, Misha-waka, Ind., after 22 years of service. He was also a farmer for many years. He was born May 3, 1912, in New Carlisle and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Zelasko is survived by two sisters, Irene Sipotz of New Carlisle, and Bernice Opaczewski of North Liberty; two brothers, Albert Zelasko of New Carlisle, and Donald Zelasko of South Bend and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Chodzinski and Frances Bilinski and three brothers, Louis Zelasko, Stazy Zelasko and Edward Zelasko.

Friends may call from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the St. Joseph Funeral Home. A parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at the St. Joseph Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Terre Coupee, of which Mr. Zelasko was a member.
