LeRoy Zechiel  

July 2, 1893 - January 20, 1928  

LeRoy Zechiel, age 34, of 723 East Fifth street, died in his residence this morning at 8:45 o'clock after an illness of two months with tuberculosis.  He was born in Indiana, July 2, 1893, and came here from Benton Harbor, Mich., one year ago.  He was married to Mildred Kiefer in 1920 and is survived by her and two sons Herbert and Robert, at home, and by his mother, Mrs. Mary Zechiel, of Benton Harbor and by three brothers and a sister, Don, Delbert and Clement, of Benton Harbor, and Mrs. E. Culver, of St. Joseph Mich.  Funeral services will be held from St. Paul's Lutheran church, Woodland, this county, Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. A. Schlifke officiating.  Burial will be in the cemetery adjoining the church.
