Mrs. Joseph Zakrzewski

August 15, 1893 - December 12, 1957

Mrs. Lottie Zakrzewski, 527 N. Johnson St, died at 12:35pm Thursday in St Joseph Hospital after an extended illness.

She was born in Poland August 15, 1893, and came to South Bend from Poland 63 years ago.  She was married in South Bend May 2, 1917, as Miss Lottie Walkowski to Joseph Zakrzewski, who survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Clara Nowak, Miss Evelyn Zakrzewski and Mrs. Patricia Forker; all of South Bend; two sons, Chester C. J. of Hood River OR and Joseph of South Bend; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Jeanette Swiental, Mrs. Stella Chelminiak and Mrs. Vera Nemeth; and three brothers, Peter, John and Clement Walkowski, all of South Bend

Friends may call after 4pm Saturday in the St Joseph Funeral Home.  Services will be held at 9am Tuesday in St Stanislaus Catholic Church with Rev. Casimir F. Grabarz, CSC, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Polish Cemetery.  Mrs. Zakrzewski was a member of the Angelus Society.
