Robert Dale Yost, 86, of 2282 Hoehn Road, Sedro Woolley, Wash., died of natural causes Tuesday, July 30, in the Life Care Nursing Home, Sedro Woolley.

He was born to William and Hattie (Price) Yost in South Bend, Ind. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Hattie (Price) Yost; two brothers, Jerome and John Yost; two sisters, Maud Yost and Theda Bell Parmley; and by one son, James "Jim" Yost, who died in September 2000.

He moved to California in the 1960s from South Bend. In May 1935, he married Catherine Mazlow, who also preceded him in death. In 1982, he married Edith Pillsbury, who survives. He also is survived by two sons, Robert (Trudy) Yost and John (Inka) Yost; and by seven grandchildren of California. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
