Letter to
the Editor
"Missed"
My
son David will never be the same. When we moved here four years ago, it
was hard for a 7 year old. We just didn't realize how hard at the
time.
For
some wonderful reason we were lucky enough to live in the Navarre district and
he was blessed with Mrs. SANDRA YOHO for his teacher. Mrs. Yoho picked up
on David's problem, and informed us the move had made David feel lost and
alone.
We
tried talking to him, but could not get through. His school work
fell. Yet Mrs. YOHO spent hours talking to him and being David's
friend.
He
passed, but only with her help. She gave him work to do during the summer,
she came to our home to check his papers, and she kept in touch with
David.
Mrs.
Yoho died recently, We can't repay her kindness, and she may never have
known how much she really did for us. Bur we know that where she is now is
a wonderful place, and we would like her to know she is
missed.
