Celina M. Wolfe Yoder, 91, of
Ellsworth Avenue, South Bend, passed away at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday
in Memorial Hospital. Celina was born on Dec. 10, 1909, in
Elkhart. On November 22, 1928, in Goshen as Celina Hostie she
married Rev. Leon V. Wolfe. Mr. Wolfe was a retired dairy farmer
and was married for 60 years before he passed away in December
1988. Mrs. Yoder was also preceded in death by a daughter, Doris
M. Shafer Worthen and four grandchildren.
In 1995, she married Rudolph Yoder who
survives along with a daughter, Mary E. "Pinky" Wolfe
of South Bend; and adopted daughter, Teka M. Wolfe of
South Bend; ten grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 65
great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 12, in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble
Avenue. Cremation will follow with burial in Prairie Street
Cemetery, Elkhart. Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m.
Sunday in the funeral home.
