SOUTH BEND - Susan E. Yeakey, 55, passed away at 8:05 AM Monday, April 28, 2008, in Hospice House, South Bend. She served as a home health care aide for many years, and also worked at Frick's Dairy Queen for five years. Susan was born on July 9, 1952, in South Bend, IN, to Herbert Leroy and Dorothy Marie (Kubick) Freet, and had lived in this area most of her life.

On May 28, 1983, in Mishawaka, IN, she married Marvin Dale Yeakey, who preceded her in death on March 21, 2006. Susan is survived by her two daughters, Tina (David) Stout and LouAnne (Ernie) Schroeder, both of South Bend; a son, Chris Davis of South Bend; four stepsons, Robert (Michelle) Sebelski of Florence, AL, Shawn Sebelski of Rogersville, AL, Jason (Marcie) Yeakey of Osceola and Lucas (Roxanne) Yeakey of Mishawaka; her father, Herbert Freet of Phoenix, AZ; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Douglas (Gilda) Freet and Donald Freet, both of Phoenix, AZ. Her son, Michael Davis, and her mother, Dorothy Freet, preceded her in death.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, May 1, in Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Steve Nani, spiritual counselor will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 to 7:00 PM prior to services on Thursday in the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Susan E.
