Marvin Dale Yeakey, 56, of Mishawaka,
IN, died of natural causes on Tuesday in his home. Survivors
include his wife, Susan E. (Freet) Yeakey; four sons,
Jason (Marcie) of Osceola, Lucas (Roxanne) of Mishawaka, Robert
(Michelle) Sebelski of Florence, AL, and Shawn (Becky)
Sebelski of Rogersville, AL; two stepdaughters, Lou Ann (Ernie) Schroeder
of South Bend and Tina (David) Stout of Mishawaka; a
stepson, Christopher Davis of Phoenix, AZ; his mother,
Bertha of North Liberty; five brothers, Earl of Mishawaka, Merle
of South Bend, John of California, Wayne of South Bend and Jerald
of Washington; three sisters, Mary Lou of North Liberty, Carol of
Plymouth and Lois of Michigan; 16 grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren. Dale was born on March 8, 1950, in LaPorte,
IN, to Earl and Bertha Yeakey. He had been employed by Swift
Transportation, Phoenix, AZ, Gene Glick, South Bend, and
Janco Products and Dodge's, Mishawaka. On May 28, 1983, he
married Susan Freet. Dale enjoyed restoring antiques and spending
time with his family.
Friends and family may call from 9:00 to
11:00 a.m. today in the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka
Avenue, South Bend, where a memorial service will be held at
11:00 a.m. Rev. John Branch will officiate. Contributions in
memory of M. Dale Yeakey may be made to the family to help with
final expenses.
