Louise E. Yanez

March 21, 1926 -- March 1, 2004

Louise E. Yanez, 77, formerly of East Fairington Circle, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 9 p.m. on Monday, March 1, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center.

She was born on March 21, 1926, in Bunson, Ind., to Alfred and Ethel (Auman) Ellis, who preceded her in death. Also deceased are three brothers, Bert Ellis, Bill Ellis and Hershel Ellis, and a sister-in-law, Betty Ellis. On Oct. 12, 1946, in South Bend, she married Romeo Yanez, who passed away on Dec. 4, 1985.

Surviving Louise is a daughter, Denise (Brian) Craft of South Bend; sons, Jim (Terry) Richards of Santa Maria, Calif., and Romeo (Kathy) Yanez of Reseda, Calif.; sister-in-law, Nina Leonhard of South Bend; two brothers-in-law, Louis Yanez and Frank Yanez, both of South Bend; grandchildren, Gina, Brett, Romeo, Wendy, Kari, Brandon and Kristi; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Kehoe of Mishawaka, Ind.

Louise is formerly of California.

There will be no visitation or service. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo, Calif.
