Emma Louise (Dawson) Wynn, 90, of Lily Road, died on Friday, Jan. 8, at the Fountainview Place Nursing Home. She was born on Nov. 19, 1908, in Chrisney, Ind. She was retired in 1974 from the South Bend Community School Corporation as a matron at the former Jackson High School.

She was married to Devon Wynn, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Norman and William Wynn; a sister, Ruth Guy; and by three brothers, Walter, James and Charles Dawson. She is survived by a daughter, Joyla Jean Rhodes of South Bend, Ind.; a sister, Pauline Grounds of South Bend; six grandchildren, Sherry Diszewski, Greg Rhodes, Gary Rhodes, Randy Wynn, Connie Sue Wynn and Norman Wynn; and by eight great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home, with Rev. Edward Vegh officiating. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery.
