Robert A. Wright
June 15, 1950 - March 22, 1999
Robert A. Wright, 48, of Lawrence Street, Mishawaka, Ind.,
died on Monday, March 22, at his residence.
He was born in Mishawaka on June 15, 1950, and had lived in
this area all of his life. He was preceded in death by his
parents, Albert A. and Audrey (Myers) Wright.
Robert worked as an electrician for 27 years and was currently
employed at Noetzel Enterprises Incorporated of South Bend, Ind.,
as a production manager.
He was a 1969 graduate of Mishawaka High School, a member of
I.B.E.W. Local 1392, the Diloreto Club and the Mishawaka Eagles.
Robert married Cheryl Young in Mishawaka on Aug. 29, 1970. She
survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Jon)
Crutchfield of Canton, Mich., Tara Wright of Mishawaka and her
fianc, Tim Donlin; his grandson, Andrew Evan Crutchfield; a
sister, Sharon Lamb of Mishawaka; and by a brother, Charles
Wright of North Liberty, Ind.
Bob was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed ''taking the long
way,'' especially on trips through Michigan's Upper Peninsula
with his wife Cheryl. Fishing, birdwatching, and nature hikes
were his favorite family activities.
A dedicated father, Bob supported both of his daughters
through college. He was always available for his family and took
great pride in his daughters' achievements. Most recently the
addition of a grandson to the family brought Bob great joy.
Bob's many friends and family love and miss him dearly.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, March 24, in the Bubb
Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the
funeral home, with Pastor Otis Buchan officiating. Burial will
follow in Fairview Cemetery.
